Method

Structured self-assessment against the nine GoTo360™ dimensions, scored on the five-point maturity scale, with each score justified in one sentence citing evidence. Instrument administered online, with follow-up verification interviews on a stratified subset. Scores are reported by sector band, never by named organisation.

Sample

Target: 120 organisations across four sectors, minimum 25 per sector, drawn from universities, national and provincial departments, metropolitan and district municipalities, and mid-market firms. In field from August 2026. Achieved sample and response rate will be published with the report, including sectors that fall short of target.

Key points

  • Reports scored maturity by sector band, not by named organisation.
  • Verification interviews on a stratified subset, because self-assessment alone flatters.
  • Achieved sample and response rate published alongside the findings, including shortfalls.
  • No figure will be published before the sample closes.

Status: in field

This report is in field. No findings are available and none are claimed. This page exists so that the method and sample are published before the data is collected rather than after, which is the only sequence in which a stated method means anything.

Organisations that complete the instrument receive their own scored profile against the sector band at no cost, whether or not they engage the firm.

02

What will be reported

Scored maturity across the nine GoTo360™ dimensions by sector band; the distribution rather than the average alone; the dimensions where the gap between stated intent and evidenced practice is widest; and the governance items most frequently absent.

03

What will not be reported

No organisation will be named. No adoption rate will be extrapolated to the national population from a self-selected sample. Where the achieved sample in a sector falls below the minimum, that sector will be reported as indicative and labelled as such in the same visual weight as the rest.

04

Participate

Participation takes approximately 40 minutes and requires someone who can speak to systems, data and governance rather than to intent alone. Contact the firm to receive the instrument.

This report is in field. No findings are available and none are claimed here. The method and sample above are published in advance so that the measure cannot be adjusted after the results are known.

Book a Discovery Session

The most useful first step is a discovery conversation.

A structured session that produces a written problem statement, whether or not it leads to an engagement. If the problem is not one we should be paid to solve, we will say so.
